Resident Specialist:

The duties of a residential specialist include but are not limited to assisting individuals with daily activities and personal care, this includes hourly status checks, going on outings, ensuring clients have needed necessities for personal needs, monitoring movement and safety of clients, transporting clients to appointments and activities, supervising and administering medication and vitals after training.

This person in this position must be trained in basic first aid, CPR, Narcan dispensing and medication passing certification along with the agency orientation all of which are provided for by the agency. This position has three shifts: days, evenings and nights, it does require working weekends. The hours and shifts are still being determined based on applicants and their ability to share in these responsibilities.

Requires a High School Diploma/GED or higher and valid ND drivers license

Criminal record check required and may be subjected to hiring and random drug screening

This position hourly wage begins at 18+ per hour depending on experience and life qualifications

Maintenance Technician:

Cleans, maintains, and repairs building fixtures and equipment, including locks, windows, doors, screens, window coverings, gutters, drains, shelving, and kitchen utensils; replaces light bulbs and fuses; makes simple furniture, cabinet, asphalt tile, and linoleum repairs; assists in maintaining and repairing electrical lines and fixtures; assists in lubricating, regulating, and repairing sewage, water, cooling, fire suppression and heating system lines and equipment; assists in repairing roofs; assists in repairing plaster and concrete; assists in painting buildings and equipment; operates automotive equipment and hauls material; requisitions supplies; makes reports on work done. This position will also assist in the transportation of clients if and when needed. This is a Monday through Friday position with possible on call in maintenance emergency situation.

This position hourly wage begins at 25+ per hour depending on experience and life qualifications

Nursing:

Provides skilled nursing services to patients struggling with substance use disorders. Responsible for ongoing assessment, evaluations, triage, harm reduction teaching, stabilization, and monitoring of clients/patients in the ambulatory community-based treatment model. Assists in client and staff education by providing training as needed during orientation, group facilitation, and medication management. Will be asked to be available on an on-call basis for phone consultations when needed along with other nursing and administrative staff. Responsible for updating and development of agency medical policies. Will participate in agency MDS staffing and team building. May provide client transportation but unlikely. This position is a Monday through Friday position.

This position requires a valid nursing license in the State of North Dakota and a valid ND driver's license

This position hourly wage begins at 30+ per hour depending on years of experience, particularly in the field of substance use, and type of nursing license

Administrative Coordinator:

This position is responsible for creating and executing staff schedules, maintaining financial documents and providing them to the accountant, communicating with staff or clients who need assistance, and keeping organized records assisting in reception and client intake coordination, documentation retention and may assist in client transportation in necessary situations. This position will be supervised by the Clinical Director in house as well as the Administrative Director of Summit Counseling Services at large. Must love people and genuinely care about individuals with substance use disorders as well as staff and their families as this is our top priority.

This person in this position must be trained in basic first aid, CPR, Narcan dispensing and medication passing certification along with the agency orientation all of which are provided for by the agency

This position hourly wage begins at 22+ per hour depending on experience and life qualifications

Cook/Kitchen Manager

Manages day to day operation of the kitchen: Inventory and supplies, Managing the purchasing process, ensuring sufficient stock levels, and creating an inventory system, Food quality Ensuring food and beverage items are of high quality, and monitoring food quality, Staff and client supervision, Leading the team to ensure efficient operations, training new employees, and coaching shift leaders, Safety and sanitation, Overseeing safe and healthy work practices, ensuring sanitation techniques are used to avoid cross-contamination, and monitoring conditions and procedures, Menu planning, Planning menus, reviewing recipes, estimating ingredient needs and preparation times, and creating menu items appropriate for specific population, preparation and serving of foods, three meals daily, including weekends as well as snacks and special meals for dietary needs. This position may require the transportation of clients and client supervision if needed.

These positions' hours are yet undetermined until we are aware of applicants and needs for this position. At the present time we are considering 5 day work weeks with meals prepared for the weekends and evenings in advance.

This position hourly wage begins at 20+ per hour depending on experience and life qualifications

TRANSPORTATION:

Transporting patients to various locations within the state of North Dakota. Typically for client outings, assisting with intake and discharge transportation to and from their home area, medical appointments and other care giving events. Offering support, encouragement, and solace to clients. Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit. This position will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is maintained and in good driving condition with appropriate safety gear for travel. This position coordinates with the Administrative Coordinator and Maintenance Technician for upkeep and scheduling. The person holding this position may hold other positions within the agency as well. They must be flexible in their schedules as at times some of the work will require transportation to the community of Williston and Grand Forks if needed as well as it has the potential of evening transportation to client activities outside of the community. There are times during emergencies when transportation is essential and this person will be called to assist in either transporting or standing in to assist in client care until an emergency transporter returns to the Center.
