"I'm writing this letter to express my love for Summit. This place has become so much more than just a treatment facility to me it has become a second home, a safe haven, and a cornerstone in my journey toward healing and self-discovery. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt something different. I was welcomed with kindness, compassion and understanding. Something I hadn't truly felt in a long time. That staff treated me with dignity and never gave up on me, even when I was struggling to believe in myself. The tools, the groups, the one-on-one support - all of it helped me begin to rebuild my life. But what impacted me most was the genuine care from everyone here. You didn't just help me recover you reminded me that I'm worthy of recovery, that my story matters, and that change is possible. Thank you for the patience, the encouragement, and the space to grow. I carry this experience with me every day, and I speak of this place with nothing but love and respect. You've not only helped me heal, but you've also helped me hope. Thank you for being a chapter in my story. Love, Jess"
"I cannot say enough how much choosing to go in for therapy here has helped me. We have gotten me on the correct medication. We have gotten a proper diagnosis for me. And I have grown so much with my mental health. Thank you Summit!"
"There are great, understanding, patient and caring professional employees here who I look forward to seeing every day."
"I struggled with not being able to complete treatment and would relapse every time. So I waited until I was sober (on my own) for about 3-4 months and then got a new evaluation with you guys. I wasn’t recommended treatment. Treatment isn’t for everybody and was very triggering to me. This is the only place that I know of that won’t break your bank and won’t recommend treatment. This is a great place to go if you are struggling with the same situation as I was. I have not used still 2.6 years later. Thank you."
"These people were instrumental in saving my life. I am an older lady that came through the doors of AA and my 1st "30 day" treatment, in 2010. I have had periods of sobriety, followed by the devastation of relapse. For me, the standard "28" day residential treatments simply did not work. I never got to know myself. Me. What is "underneath." Why I reach for a drink. As a "solution." To pain. To fear. To anxiety. To life. And that is where Summit Counseling came in!! Thanksgiving of 2022. What a gift!!!! Summit Counseling is not a "cookie cutter" approach to recovery. They are genuinely interested in you as a human being and will try to get to know you. They understand addiction and addicts. They will include all foundational basics one needs for recovery, but will be creative at the same time. If they sense you need "more," like perhaps, trauma therapy, they will help you pull in those resources. They are a wellness center, not just a treatment center. You will not be "run through" your program like cattle in an auction! There is no set timetable; Summit matches your treatment program to you. They will do their best to ensure you are ready to journey on without them, before they graduate you. Their doors are always open to us; they welcome visits, phone calls, and connection. I love these people. They helped save my life. And by that, I mean, I have a quality of life that is indescribably wonderful."
"I have been working with a counselor here for a few years now. She’s been great to work with, has been helpful, loving, and understanding with all of my struggles. Their billing dept has a little struggle of their own, but I always get answers, the receptionists are always fun to speak with on the phone and I never have issues getting through. If they don’t answer due to being on a call, you wait 3-5 minutes and they answer. I would recommend."
"I have called Summit Counseling to make referrals for clients. Summit provided professional quality service, and seen my clients quickly, through whatever platform my clients requested. I have had nothing but an exceptional experience when working with this company."
"10/10 recommend Summit counseling if you need to get a DUI evaluation/seminar done! Ashley and Rhonda were super accommodating. Breaks throughout the seminar, so you weren’t constantly racking your brain. Rhonda was also very knowledgeable with the information she was teaching us."
"I've had a great experience with Summit. I had to do court-ordered addiction counseling, but got so much more out of it. They really want you to succeed and it's great talking to counselors who have already went down this addiction road. They help you figure out a plan moving forward and helped me find the perfect fit for my personal mental health therapy. I would definitely recommend."
"Summit Counseling Recovery Center, I'm deeply grateful for the life-changing support you provided. Your expert team and compassionate approach helped me overcome challenges and discover a path to healing and growth. Thank you for transforming my life and giving me a second chance."
"I highly recommend picking Summit! I have worked the last couple years with them scheduling our patients. The feedback from mutual clients is great! I hear nothing but great things about their staff. That is something you want to hear when working in mental health facilities. Keep up the good work in our community!!"
"Summit Counseling has quite simply given me my life back & helped me find myself again. I had been stuck in a rut, feeling the same way for nearly 8 years with little to no improvement all while being prescribed the same medicine that clearly wasn't helping. I knew I needed help & Summit answered the call. Upon my first visit I knew I was in the right place. My therapist, Chelle, was so kind, cool & intelligent. She took the time to really listen & understand. She has gone above and beyond as a therapist and truly truly cares. She also knew we needed to get my meds figured out and that is where Liz comes into the picture! Liz was nothing short of amazing and has taken the time and care to find the right medicine that has worked wonders for me. I am so grateful for Summit Counseling. If you are contemplating starting therapy let this be your sign to make the call. You have nothing to lose and the whole rest of your life to gain."

"These people were instrumental in saving my life. It's gonna be tough to capture my experience with brevity here; I am an older lady that came thru the doors of AA and my 1st "30 day" treatment, in 2010. I have had periods of sobriety, followed by the devestation of relapse. Have heard it said, "Alcoholism is the ONLY Disease that tells you, You Don't Have It!". Our Big Book: "The Disease CENTERS In Our Mind." It is TRICKY.
For Me, the standard "28" day residential treatments, tho well intentioned I KNOW, By ALL, Simply DID NOT WORK for me. Within 2 to 6 weeks ( following each of the 3 I successfully completed during my 1st 6 years), I found myself parked in front of a liqour store. Confused, Ashamed, Bewildered. Knowing what I was about to do was putting me, and my loved ones on the escalator BACK To Hell. I did manage to obtain over 3 years of sobriety from 2016 to late '19, but it wasn't "good" sobriety. I say this, because I believe it is SO TERRIBLY IMPORTANT - - - I NEVER GOT TO KNOW MYSELF. ME. What, Is "UNDERNEATH". WHY I REACH, For A Drink. As A "SOLUTION". To PAIN. To FEAR. To ANXIETY. To LIFE.
And THAT Is Where Summit Counseling Came In!! Thanksgiving of 2022. WHAT A GIFT!!!! I've rambled a bit now, so I will try to "nut-shell" this for you. MY EXPERIENCE:
1) Summit Counseling is not a "Cookie Cutter" Approach to Recovery. NOT, "One Size Fits All". They are Genuinely Interested in YOU, As A HUMAN BEING. As God's Unique Creation. They will try to get to know YOU. Will Specifically ASK YOU, "WHAT Is It, That You Want, Out of Recovery?" Hold on for the Ride!! You might be Surprised at Your Answers!!
2) They UNDERSTAND ADDICTION, and ADDICTS. They will include All foundational basics One Needs for Recovery, but will be CREATIVE, at the Same Time. If They sense you need "more", like perhaps, Trauma Therapy ( or Other specialities, All things Mental Health), They will HELP YOU, PULL IN Those Resources. They Are a WELLNESS Center, Not just a Treatment Center.
3) You will NOT Be "Run Thru" your program like cattle in an auction!! There is No set timetable; Summit matches your Treatment program to YOU. They will do Their Best to ensure you are Ready to journey on without them, before they graduate you. And,
4) There Actually IS No " fleeing the nest", so to speak! Their Doors are Always Open to Us; They Welcome Visits, phone calls, Connection.
I LOVE These People. They helped SAVE MY LIFE. And by That, I Mean, I Have A QUALITY Of Life, that as our Big Book says,
"Is Indescribably WONDERFUL."
